What is Girling?
Girling is a blog by and for Real World Feminists.
Here at Girling, we noticed that feminist content is often hyper-intellectual and unrealistic. We’re here to create a community based on nonjudgmental feminist reflections on everyday life.
We’re here for the Real World Feminists. The girlies who believe in equality across gender identities and expressions. The intersectional feminists who are ready to break free of the gatekeeping seen in so many social justice movements. The folks who are doing their best to empower themselves and others. Join us and share what being a girl means to you.

Noelle Hoffman has her bachelor’s in Health and Human Science with an emphasis in Health, Gender, and Ethnicity from the University of Southern California and her master’s in Global Health and Development from the University College London. Day to day, she applies an intersectional feminist lens to her public health work; with Girling, she applies a public health lens to her feminist writing. She hopes to use this platform to start an honest, approachable, and accessible dialogue about sex and gender equity.
